On Tuesday 20th, you have a chance to learn about artisan fishing with The Fishermen’s Route, guided boat trip and visit to the fishing port. More information on this link

On Friday 23rd at 18:00h, traditional parade “Entrà de la Murta”. Itinerary: Parking of the University, Benidorm Street, La Nucia Avenue, Pont de Moncau Street and Jaume I Avenue. At 20:00h, Entry of Bands. At the end of this act, at the Town Hall Square (Plaza José María Planelles), all the bands will play the pasodoble “Ida y Vuelta”.

Moreover, on Saturday 24 th at 13:00 h, Moor Embassy at the Church Square (old town) and at 20:00h Moors Parade. You can buy your tickets in advance (more information on this link). At night, great open-air dance with Seguridad Social group and Confetti Alicante Dj Toni.

On Sunday 25th at 12:00h Solemn Mass at Virgen del Consuelo’s Church (old town) and at 14:00 h, Mascletà (sound fireworks) at Paseo Mediterráneo. At night, 20:00h, Solemn Procession at the old town.

And on Monday morning, at 00:30 h, great Fireworks at Paseo Mediterráneo. At the end, great open-air dance with Celta Cortos group and Dj Vidijumpers.

The cultural offer in Altea completes with the exhibition Casal Fester Museum, where Moors and Christians show their finery in the Casa de Cultura at the 14 Pont de Montcau Street (open Monday to Friday from 10 to 14 h and from 17 to 20 h – admission free) and with the Museo Parroquial de la Iglesia de Ntra. Sra. del Consuelo, where you can admire liturgical objects such as chalices, chasubles and parish books of great historical value that come to date from the year 1640 (the exhibition will be open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:30 to 13:30 and 16:30 to 18:30 hours – more on this link).

On Saturday September 17th at 20:30 h in Palau d’Esports Vila d’Altea, Presentation of dresses, festive posts, ladies and crowning of the queen of the Fiesta (free entry and limited capacity of the room). More information here.

There is also a time for sports this week, on Wednesday 14 th and Friday 16 th of August Snorkel guided tours will take place. Wednesday they will visit the coast from the beach of Cap Negret, while Friday they will start at the beach of La Solsida. In both cases the output will be at 09:45 hours. Limited places.
