The railway viaduct over Algar River overcomes the riverbed by an stone bases and steel beams structure along 202,8 metres. (…) This is an already historical viaduct that belongs to the last part of Algar landscape before its mouth. (…) Th estructure of the viaducto is similar to the bridge over theh old Alta la Vella Road and to the bridge over the Mascarat cliffs stones, which was a paradigm of its time. The opening of the viaduct coincides with the opening of Alicante-Denia section on 11th July 1915.
