Every corner keeps traces of its past, where you can experience the contrast of squares full of life and others quiet and with a family atmosphere. Everything you are looking for is here.

Discovering the roots in Altea la Vella

We start by walking through the historic centre of Altea la Vella. Walk through its quiet streets, with whitewashed houses and traditional details, until you reach the Plaza de la Iglesia where we find the Parish Church of Santa Ana with a simple façade and octagonal dome that transmits the serenity of a town with deep roots.

After the visit, continue to the Calvary of Altea la Vella, from where the Stations of the Cross depart. This route, which ascends gently along a path surrounded by greenery, is marked by small chapels and tiles with religious scenes. During the walk, the views over the valley, the mountains of Bernia and the Mediterranean accompany each step, turning the experience into a moment of connection with nature and local history.
