The Altean bay, protected since 2005 as part of the Serra Gelada Natural Park, is home to meadows of Posidonia oceanica vital for marine fauna. Its 8 km of coastline alternate between crystalline coves, spectacular cliffs and the volcanic outcrop of Cap Negret, declared a Protected Natural Area. This environment allows activities such as kayaking, scuba diving and seabird watching.

Sierra de Bèrnia: Natural Viewpoint
At 1,129 metres high, this limestone mountain range is home to the emblematic Forat de Bèrnia (natural tunnel) and remains of the 16th-century Fort of Bernia. The Sierra is listed as a Site of Community Interest, offers hiking trails among endemic botanicals and panoramic views as far as Ibiza on clear days.
