As part of its strategy to promote inclusive and accessible tourism, the Altea City Council makes available to citizens and visitors a promotional video of the town adapted to Spanish Sign Language (LSE).

This action is part of the institutional commitment to guarantee universal access to tourist information, promoting equal opportunities and eliminating communication barriers.

With this initiative, Altea reinforces its commitment to accessibility and inclusion, making it easier for all people, regardless of their abilities, to enjoy the cultural, heritage and landscape wealth of the municipality.

Continuing with the improvements in terms of inclusion and accessibility, in 2025 a video was made in Spanish Sign Language (LSE) in which the different accessibility actions implemented in the municipality of Altea are announced, both in public spaces and in services and infrastructures, bringing a more inclusive and accessible tourist experience to all people.

In this way, the City Council of Altea reinforces its commitment to accessible communication and a tourist destination model that integrates diversity, personal autonomy and equal opportunities as fundamental values.

This video was presented at the inclusive tourism conference held in November in the municipality by the Councilor for Tourism and the general director of Turisme Comunitat Valenciana at the Tur4all Day event
